The NetAssist Division was founded in 2006 and offered customers many types of hosted solutions located in Camera Corner Connecting Points’ datacenter. These solutions included: website hosting, DNS hosting, application hosting, email hosting, managed services, and offsite backup storage. At the time, there were 2 employees maintaining the infrastructure and offerings.
In 2008, the datacenter caught fire, taking out all the servers and bringing all NetAssist’s offerings to customers down. Through hard work and many hours spent, Camera Corner Connecting Point was able to rise through the ashes like a Phoenix with a new perspective in data protection and Business Continuity. This started the relationship with Datto to protect our data and our customers’ data offsite.
In 2013, NetAssist took a different direction in their offerings. Wanting to focus more on Managed Services, public cloud offerings, and the Datto Business Continuity solutions, they begin moving away from the private hosted offerings that resided in the CCCP datacenter.
The NetAssist division has now grown to 8 employees (with occasional help from CCCP engineers) supporting our customers on a day-to-day basis. They have grown at a steady rate since 2013 and continue to make to partnerships with customers every day.
